Marc ManashilMarc is passionate about applying his adaptive leadership and collaboration expertise to help stakeholders within teams, stakeholder groups, and organizations and systems overcome unproductive conflict and address adaptive challenges that impede their impact. His consulting, training and coaching work is centered around helping individuals and groups to define their greatest adaptive challenge(s), gain a better systemic awareness of the problem, and concretely apply new insights by making more strategic interventions that generate progress. Marc is a Co-Founder and Principal at CoInnovative Consulting.

Marc was inspired by the adaptive leadership framework while pursuing his mid-career MPA at the Harvard Kennedy School from 2009-10, subsequently becoming a teaching assistant and then spending the past decade developing and delivering adaptive leadership programs in corporate, nonprofit, and public sector contexts. As an Adjunct Assistant Professor and Co-Founder of the Adaptive Leadership in Human Services Institute at New York University’s Silver School of Social Work, Marc has developed and facilitated a multifaceted set of adaptive leadership initiatives encompassing fellowship programs, leadership labs, and courses at the masters, doctoral and executive levels.

Marc spent his early career working in global health, development, and philanthropy as a social worker by training. During this time, he started a public foundation hosting globally-focused giving circles where corporate executives and philanthropists pooled resources and engaged in collective grantmaking to grassroots development and peacebuilding organizations worldwide. Marc also served as program director for a Latin American medical relief organization and as US executive director of an NGO to prevent child mortality in West Africa.
